Jade Necklace

Jade colored necklace with silver chain. Green jade quartz drop beads and spherical beads are complemented by faceted Czech glass green beads with drops at staggered lengths. Silver wire and rings wrapping along the chain add texture.

This three strand necklace is comprised of three varied lengths of with different shades of faceted drop beads. The necklace have a dramatic look when worn.

The beads used were reclaimed from a decorative lampshade.

Blue Drop Bracelet

This feminine blue drop bracelet makes a lovely sound when it’s worn. The Czech glass beads make a lovely light musical sound with movement. The blue drop beads are in two shades of blue and of different shapes and sizes.

Jewelry Grid System 2005

As a jewelry designer, I love to glance at my beaded jewelry as I’m getting dressed.  I used this wire grid intended for kitchen applications and attached hooks and S hooks to hang necklaces while I hang earrings by the ear wire hooks. The hanging system keeps necklaces from tangling and damage. With a white grid on a white wall, it almost blends into the wall.

Famous Cows in History

Designed the T-shirt sold as a fundraiser at the annual  Chapter Organizing Workshop (COW) hosted by the organization Student Pugwash. The theme of “Famous COWS in History” is a pun on the name of the workshop.

Student Pugwash was founded to promote social responsibility in science and technology among students and future leaders in science and technology.

Chocolate Bracelet

Six strand bracelet in chocolate brown tones constructed of  two shades of brown Miyuki glass seed beads with gold tone findings. The hexagonal beads varied in opacity, the lighter color were translucent while the darker shade had a highly reflective finish.
